S.C.O.R.E.: Creating a Successful Business Plan. Monday, October 15, 2018, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The Business Plan is the manual that guides the company’s daily operation and activity towards the goals and objectives that have been established.  The plan answers the - who, what, when, where, how and whys of your company.  Who are you? What are you going to do?  Where are you going to do it? When are you going to do it?  How are you going to be successful?  Why does this make good business sense?  You will learn what data is required to write your plan, review the techniques used to acquire it, and how to use this data to establish realistic goals and objectives. Instructional handouts, sample plans, and business development material will be distributed to all seminar participants.

Coding for Kids. Monday, October 15, 2018, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Learn how to design your own characters, produce animations, and create video games using the programming language Scratch! If you have a laptop you'd like to use, please bring it in. If you don't have one, you can use one of ours. This program is a six-week course for kids in grades 2-7, and attendance all six weeks is required. Registering for the first week will guarantee you a spot in every week of the course.

Frightening Forensics. Tuesday, October 16, 2018, 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. If you had to solve a murder, would you be able to do it? Do you want to learn more about how forensics works? Join us for a frightening presentation by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office to learn about crime scene analysis, forensic science, and more! This program is for tweens in grades 4-7.

Mom & Baby Support Group. Tuesday, October 16, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Bring your children and connect with other mothers in a relaxing and supportive environment! This group meets weekly to provide free breastfeeding and mothering support to local moms. Sponsored by WIC and the Florida Dept. of Health.

Baby Storytime. Wednesday, October 17, 2018, 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. This story time will be for children ages birth to 18 mos.  Activities will foster development in pre-reading, motor, and social skills through the use of music, movement, finger-plays, and props.  We will finish our program each week with a free-play setting that provides plenty of opportunity for socialization for caregivers and babies alike.

Toddler Storytime. Wednesday, October 17, 2018, 11:15 a.m. – 11:35 a.m. Is your little one full of wiggles, jiggles, and giggles?  This story time is for children ages 16-18 mos. to around 2 1/2 years and will feature short stories, moving and grooving, singing, and activities to enhance the topics. With plenty of fun and excitement, we will not only touch on pre-reading skills, but spatial awareness, attention, motor development, and social skills as well.

Tai Chi. Monday, October 15, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Join us for our all new Tai Chi classes! Bonnie’s Tai Chi Class brings all your physiological systems from digestion, cardiovascular, respiration, immunity and mental activity up to a higher level in a gentle and low impact manner. No movement is too difficult or strenuous as Bonnie modifies each movement to fit every student’s needs. Many of her students can work at different levels within the same class whether you are doing chair work due to an injury or studying in preparation to teach. Greater flexibility, core stability, improved balance, less fatigue, and reduced stress aid in the ability for her students to prevent and deal with issues such as Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, Arthritis, Joint Replacement, Lowering Blood Pressure, Depression, Anxiety and Breathing. Chair Yoga. Tuesday, October 16, 2018, 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Join our volunteer teacher for an all new Chair Yoga program! A signed liability waiver is required. The fitness goals for this program are to improve balance and increase endurance, flexibility, and range of motion. The class is taught in seated and standing positions using a chair as a prop. Research shows that people with Parkinson's Disease can benefit from activities such as Chair Yoga. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing. If you wish to relax on the floor for the final pose, feel free to bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket.
