We will have paints and materials set up for you to use. Leave your tile here or bring it home to work on. The tiles will be hung in the library, so come out and show how much you love your Land O' Lakes branch. We will have a Showcase of all the tiles at our Final Summer Party August 11th from 10a-4p. Yoga for Stress Relief. Monday, July 23, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The purpose of yoga is to increase overall well-being by reducing stress and tension and by increasing flexibility, strength and enhancing breathing ability. This free class offers fundamental techniques tailored to the level of ability and fitness of the participants with an emphasis on relaxation and mindfulness throughout the practice. Ongoing classes will enable participants to develop their practice at an appropriate gradual pace. Attire: Comfortable exercise clothing. Accessories: Large beach towel or yoga mat. Chair Yoga. Tuesday, July 24, 2018, 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Join our volunteer teacher for an all new Chair Yoga program! A signed liability waiver is required. The fitness goals for this program are to improve balance and increase endurance, flexibility, and range of motion. The class is taught in seated and standing positions using a chair as a prop.  Research shows that people with Parkinson's Disease can benefit from activities such as Chair Yoga. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing. If you wish to relax on the floor for the final pose, feel free to bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket.

Summer Reading – Millions of Cats. Wednesday, July 25, 2018, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Millions of Cats. Join Happi Holly for a one-hour puppet building workshop filled with imagination.  All materials for building puppets are provided. Once built, the puppets are brought to life using creative dramatic techniques for all to enjoy. It’s fun for any age and everyone leaves with their own magical friend! For children (and their caregivers) in grades K-5.  Presented by Bits N Pieces Puppet Theatre.

Cook Book – Book Club. Wednesday, July 25, 2018, 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. If you love to cook, learn new recipes and meet new people, this delicious book club is for you! Try to copy a dish from your favorite restaurant and bring a sample to share (optional).  Enjoy a lively taste-testing discussion while we try to decide who came the closest to the real thing!
