They have donated over 14,000 items–hats, scarves, items for children, afghans, and more–to cancer patients, the needy, the homeless, and others. Rock the Ceiling. Monday, June 25, 2018, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Join us from 3-5pm on Mondays from June 4th to August 6th to paint your own ceiling tile with your favorite book cover! We will have paints and materials set up for you to use. Leave your tile here or bring it home to work on. The tiles will be hung in the library, so come out and show how much you love your Land O' Lakes branch. We will have a Showcase of all the tiles at our Final Summer Party August 11th from 10a-4p. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. All tiles will be hung in the library for years to come. All ages welcome.

The Science of Essential Oils. Monday, June 25, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Join us for The Science of Essential Oils! Yoga for Stress Relief. Monday, June 25, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The purpose of yoga is to increase overall well-being by reducing stress and tension and by increasing flexibility, strength and enhancing breathing ability. This free class offers fundamental techniques tailored to the level of ability and fitness of the participants with an emphasis on relaxation and mindfulness throughout the practice. Ongoing classes will enable participants to develop their practice at an appropriate gradual pace. Attire: Comfortable exercise clothing. Accessories: Large beach towel or yoga mat. Completion of all forms and liability waivers is required.

LOL Card Club. Tuesday, June 26, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Join our LOL Card Club to play the card game hand and foot! New and veteran players welcome! For adults.

Chair Yoga. Tuesday, June 26, 2018, 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Join our volunteer teacher for an all new Chair Yoga program! A signed liability waiver is required. The fitness goals for this program are to improve balance and increase endurance, flexibility, and range of motion. The class is taught in seated and standing positions using a chair as a prop. Research shows that people with Parkinson's Disease can benefit from activities such as Chair Yoga. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing. If you wish to relax on the floor for the final pose, feel free to bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket.

Teen Volunteer Training. Tuesday, June 26, 2018, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is the training session to become a teen volunteer at the Land O' Lakes Library.
