Tai Chi. Monday, April 16, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Bonnie’s Tai Chi Class brings all your physiological systems from digestion, cardiovascular, respiration, immunity and mental activity up to a higher level in a gentle and low impact manner. No movement is too difficult or strenuous as Bonnie modifies each movement to fit every student’s needs. Many of her students can work at different levels within the same class whether you are doing chair work due to an injury or studying in preparation to teach. Greater flexibility, core stability, improved balance, less fatigue, and reduced stress aid in the ability for her students to prevent and deal with issues such as Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, Arthritis, Joint Replacement, Lowering Blood Pressure, Depression, Anxiety and Breathing. Woodworking 101: Wooden Vases. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, 5:00 p.m. -- Join us in The Foundry for Woodworking 101: Wooden Vases class! This time you will be making a wooden vase using the scroll saw. This class will only be accepting 3 students per session. We will be holding 3 sessions: April 3rd, April 10th, and April 17th. Please only register for one session. Hidden Gems of the Essential Oil World. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Join us for Hidden Gems of the Essential Oil World! In this class, our volunteer teacher will bring in some oils that are not as common as others for the class to experience and ask questions.  We will also continue our health forum, sharing health tips we use in every day life. These health tips are little tidbits from scientific journals or from the FDA. Registration and a signed liability waiver is required.

Chair Yoga. Wednesday, April 17, 2018, 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Join our volunteer teacher for an all new Chair Yoga program! A signed liability waiver is required. The fitness goals for this program are to improve balance and increase endurance, flexibility, and range of motion. The class is taught in seated and standing positions using a chair as a prop.  Research shows that people with Parkinson's Disease can benefit from activities such as Chair Yoga. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing. If you wish to relax on the floor for the final pose, feel free to bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket.
