Yoga for Stress Relief. Monday, April 9, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The purpose of yoga is to increase overall well-being by reducing stress and tension and by increasing flexibility, strength and enhancing breathing ability. This free class offers fundamental techniques tailored to the level of ability and fitness of the participants with an emphasis on relaxation and mindfulness throughout the practice. Ongoing classes will enable participants to develop their practice at an appropriate gradual pace. Attire: Comfortable exercise clothing. Accessories: Large beach towel or yoga mat. Completion of all forms and liability waivers is required.

READ with Charlie the Dog. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 4:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m., 4:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Join our newest reading dog, Charlie! Reading dogs help children develop the skills they need to read in a relaxed environment. You can bring your own book or read one of ours. Woodworking 101: Wooden Vases. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 5:00 p.m. -- Join us in The Foundry for Woodworking 101: Wooden Vases class! This time you will be making a wooden vase using the scroll saw. This class will only be accepting 3 students per session. We will be holding 3 sessions: April 3rd, April 10th, and April 17th. Please only register for one session. Registration and a signed liability waiver is required.

Tinkering Tuesdays – How Does Your Garden Grow? Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for our all new "Tinkering Tuesdays" program series! Each month we will explore a different theme such as: art, science, travel, books, and more! This month we will have garden themed crafts and activities! Grades: K-5.

Painting with Anjana Pt. 2. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Join us in The Foundry for our monthly painting class! This is a two-part class; please be able to attend both sessions. Please bring a canvas measuring 11X14 or smaller. Registration and a signed liability waiver is required.

Chair Yoga. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Join our volunteer teacher for an all new Chair Yoga program! A signed liability waiver is required. The fitness goals for this program are to improve balance and increase endurance, flexibility, and range of motion. The class is taught in seated and standing positions using a chair as a prop.  Research shows that people with Parkinson's Disease can benefit from activities such as Chair Yoga. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing. If you wish to relax on the floor for the final pose, feel free to bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket.

Intermediate Mahjong. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, 1:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m. Join us for Intermediate Level Mahjong. This session is designed for those who already know how to play or who have attended our beginner classes. Registration is required.

English for Speakers of Other Languages Coffee and a Chat. Wednesday, April 11, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Join our certified ESOL teacher as she teaches a class on English as a second language. Ages: 16+

Foundry Closed for Cleaning. Friday, April 13, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Foundry will now be closed on Fridays in order to clean and organize the equipment and supplies. Thank you for your understanding. Volunteers are welcome to join in the cleaning process.

Toddler Storytime. Friday, April 13, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Children and their caregivers gather to sing, dance, and share stories. This storytime is geared towards children ages 1-2 years.

On select Saturdays we will have a different program for toddlers and preschoolers to play, make, and discover! The first and third Saturday of each month is our Silly Dance Party!
