Tuesday Night Stitchers. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 4:45 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. This group instructs and shares ideas with knitters of all skill levels, beginning to advanced. New faces are always welcome. The group gathers at the tables near the New Books section.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Earn volunteer hours by helping us plan and prepare teen library programs. The more the merrier so bring your friends! Snacks and refreshments provided courtesy of the Hudson Friends of the Library. This event is for grades 6-12.

SCORE Seminar: Customer Service Workshop. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. This two-hour workshop is for people and businesses that want to take customer service to the next level and keep it there. Pasco Extension: Preserving Our Waterways. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. By making small changes in how you care for and treat your home landscape, you can help protect Florida's lakes and streams. This free UF/IFAS Pasco Extension seminar, presented by a Pasco Stormwater Management Division Public Communication Specialist, will provide you with actions you can take to reduce the introduction of pollutants into nearby waterways. They have donated over 15,000 items--hats, scarves, items for children, afghans, and more--to cancer patients, the needy, the homeless, and others. New faces are always welcome, and if you want to learn how to knit or crochet, they will teach you.

STEAM Programs: Design and Build a Bridge. Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. When traveling across a bridge, have you ever wondered how it was designed? Why do bridges have multiple shapes (i.e. arcs, triangles, etc.)? Come join us as we talk about bridge design, and then build and test our own bridges.
