Tuesday Night Stitchers. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 4:45 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. This group instructs and shares ideas with knitters of all skill levels, beginning to advanced. New faces are always welcome. The group gathers at the tables near the New Books section.

Fandom Club. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Come share your newest discoveries and latest obsessions with like-minded geeks in this monthly gathering of the fans! Manatees: Florida's Mermaids. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Jennifer Galbraith from Lowry Park Zoo's Florida Mammals Department will give a presentation about the natural history of manatees, their struggles, and what is being done to help them. This is a free presentation thanks to the Lowry Park Zoo.

They have donated over 14,000 items--hats, scarves, items for children, afghans, and more--to cancer patients, the needy, the homeless, and others. New faces are always welcome, and if you want to learn how to knit or crochet, they will teach you.
