Master Gardener: Rain Harvesting Workshop. Saturday, April 29, 2017, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Rain barrels save water, money and provide rain to plants long after the showers have stopped. If you have been wanting to start using a rain barrel, join the UF/IFAS Extension Florida Friendly Landscaping Program Coordinator, Jim Moll, to learn how to use and install a rain barrel at your home. A rain barrel is included in the fee for this workshop. One rain barrel per household. This workshop is only open to Pasco County residents. Yoga for Well-Being. Thursday, April 27, 2017, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The purpose of yoga is to increase overall well-being by reducing stress and tension and by increasing flexibility, strength and enhancing breathing ability. This class offers fundamental techniques tailored to the level of ability and fitness of the participants with an emphasis on relaxation and mindfulness throughout the practice. Ongoing classes will enable participants to develop their practice at an appropriate gradual pace. Attire: Comfortable exercise clothing. Accessories: Large beach towel or yoga mat.
