February is Library Lover’s Month. Tuesday, February 21, 2017, all day. The Hudson Library will be celebrating "Love Your Library" during the month of February. During this time, we will have hearts available for the public to write down how they love their library. These hearts will be put on the wall by checkout. Our goal is to fill the wall as much as possible. At the end of the month, The Hudson Friends will host a reception on Saturday, February 25th serving cake and coffee to thank the public for their support. So come on out and let us know how you love your library and thank the Friends for all of the programs they support.

SHINE Counseling. Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 1:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m. SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and your local Area Agency on Aging. Specially trained volunteers can assist you with your Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance questions by providing one-on-one counseling and information. SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential.

Gaming & Pizza. Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 4:30 p.m. — 6:00 p.m. Hang out, play games and eat pizza! Grades 6-12.

Tuesday Night Stitchers. Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 4:45 p.m. — 7:45 p.m. This group instructs and shares ideas with knitters of all skill levels, beginning to advanced. New faces are always welcome. The group gathers at the tables near the New Books section.

Yoga for Well-Being. Thursday, February 23, 2017, 4:00 p.m. — 5:00 p.m. The purpose of yoga is to increase overall well-being by reducing stress and tension and by increasing flexibility, strength and enhancing breathing ability. This class offers fundamental techniques tailored to the level of ability and fitness of the participants with an emphasis on relaxation and mindfulness throughout the practice.
