February is Library Lover’s Month. Tuesday, February 14, 2017, All Day. The Hudson Library will be celebrating "Love Your Library" during the month of February. During this time, we will have hearts available for the public to write down how they love their library. These hearts will be put on the wall by checkout. Our goal is to fill the wall. At the end of the month, The Hudson Friends will host a reception on Saturday, February 25th serving cake and coffee to show the public how much they are appreciated. So come on out and let us know how you love your library and thank the Friends for all of the programs they support.

Sewing Basics 101. Saturday, February 18, 2017, 10:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. — 4:00 p.m. In this class patrons will become familiar with the sewing machine and practice by stitching a small craft item! Come learn about all the different parts of the machine and how they are used, including: the feed dogs, presser feet, and bobbin. We will get a lot of practice on the machine, doing things like: threading the machines needle and bobbin, and other basics, as well as sewing lines and curves, and different spacing. Ages 9+.
