Guardian Ad Litem Information Session. Tuesday, September 13, 2016, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The Community Outreach Coordinator of Guardian Ad Litem will be here providing information on how to become a volunteer with this wonderful program. If you want to make a difference and help kids, this is the organization for you. They will be in the lobby.

Knitters for Charity. Friday, September 16, 2016, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Join this fun group to knit and crochet for charity. They have donated over 15,000 items--hats, scarves, items for children, afghans, and more--to cancer patients, the needy, the homeless, and others. New faces are always welcome, and if you want to learn how to knit or crochet, they will teach you.

Come learn about all the different parts of the machine and how they are used, including: the feed dogs, presser feet, and bobbin. We will get a lot of practice on the machine, doing things like: threading the machines needle and bobbin, and other basics, as well as sewing lines and curves, and different spacing.
