Hudson Library Friends Labor Day Book Sale. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 – Saturday, September 10, 2016, all day. All day. Come and get some good deals on used books and support our local friends group. The selections are out of this world. See us in the lobby!

Teen Advisory Board and TACOS! Tuesday, September 6, 2016, 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Get volunteer hours for scholarships and school clubs by attending our Teen Advisory Meetings! TAB members help plan and run teen library programs. This month we will serve TACOS during the meeting. Grades 6-12.

Tuesday Night Stitchers. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 4:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. This group instructs and shares ideas with knitters of all skill levels, beginning to advanced. New faces are always welcome. The group gathers at the tables near the New Books section.

Ask a Master Gardener. Tuesday, September 6, 2016, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  The Master Gardeners of the Pasco County Extension Office will be in the lobby to answer your specific gardening questions.

Pasco Cooperative Extension Gardening Seminar. Tuesday, September 6, 2016, 6:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. The Master Gardeners visit the Hudson Library monthly. This month's seminar covers the basics of planning and planting a fall veggie garden. This event is free to the public.

Baby Storytime. Wednesday, September 7, 2016, 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Join us for stories, songs and more for our littlest library patrons.

Senior Social. Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Get together with other seniors and all adults for coffee, snacks and some good conversation. Board games are available. This event runs weekly through August.

Emoji Shrinky Dinks. Wednesday, September 7, 2016, 4:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. Come make some cool Emoji Shrinky Dinks to keep or share with friends and family! All supplies provided by the Friends of the Hudson Library. Grades 4-7.

Knitters for Charity. Friday, September 9, 2016, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Join this fun group to knit and crochet for charity. They have donated over 15,000 items--hats, scarves, items for children, afghans, and more--to cancer patients, the needy, the homeless, and others. New faces are always welcome, and if you want to learn how to knit or crochet, they will teach you.

Friday Movie Presented by Gulfside Hospice. Friday, September 9, 2016, 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Join us to discuss Alzheimer's disease and to watch a feature film about a couple dealing with the disease. The movie is based on a short story by Alice Munro.

Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. This two-hour seminar is designed for persons planning to start a business, or who have recently started a small business, but who have not yet set up an effective record keeping system. The seminar is a basic hands-on introduction to QuickBooks, the popular automated business record keeping system.

Signing for Everyday Living. Friday, September 9, 2016, 11:00 a.m. Are you interested in learning sign language? Class meets for 5 weeks. Separate lessons each week, with review.
