Guardian Ad Litem Information Session. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The Community Outreach Coordinator of Guardian Ad Litem will be in the library lobby providing information on how to become a volunteer with this wonderful program. If you want to make a difference and help kids, this is the organization for you.

Tuesday Night Stitchers. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 4:45 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. This group instructs and shares ideas with knitters of all skill levels, beginning to advanced. New faces are always welcome. The group gathers at the tables near the New Books section.

SCORE Seminar: How to Use the Internet in Your Business. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Learn the various roles that a website can play in your business and how to quickly put this technology to work for you. Knitters for Charity. Friday, August 12, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Join this fun group to knit and crochet for charity. They have donated over 15,000 items--hats, scarves, items for children, afghans, and more--to cancer patients, the needy, the homeless, and others. New faces are always welcome, and if you want to learn how to knit or crochet, they will teach you.

Hudson Book Club. Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Join us to discuss this month's title, House of Sand and Fog by Andre Dubus III. New faces are always welcome. For adults.

Florida Free Summer Lunch Bus. Monday, August 8 - Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. The Free Summer Lunch Bus will be in our parking lot serving lunch to all those 18 and younger. (This includes Mondays when the library is closed.) This is a service of the USDA Summer Break Spot Program.
