Mosquito Control Seminar: Mosquitos in Your Garden. Tuesday, August 11, 2022, 11:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
Come join the Mosquito Ladies and talk about mosquitoes in your garden.  They will cover some myths and we’ll even discuss some tips on how to prevent them from growing in your gardens.  The ladies will also cover all the elements your county mosquito control program implements and offers to help you as well!

Join us the last Saturday of every month for Painting Open Studio! You may register for 1 of 2 sessions: 10am-11am or 11am-12pm. Wet paintings can be picked up after the program. We will supply all materials - all you have to do is bring your creativity -- and be sure to wear clothing you don't mind getting a little messy! Open to all ages.

Medicare Basics with SHINE. Saturday, August 27, 2022, 10:00 a.m. — 11:00 a.m.
Medicare Basics with SHINE provides an overview of the different parts of Medicare including Parts A, B, C, D, Medigap, and available financial assistance. SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco & Pinellas. Specially trained volunteers can assist you with your Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance questions by providing one-on-one counseling and information. SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential.

Chair Yoga at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex. Monday, August 22, 2022, 10:30 a.m.—11:30 a.m.
Join our teacher, Dianne Orcher, for Chair Yoga at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex. This yoga class is beginner friendly, and taught in seated and standing positions using a chair as a prop. The fitness goals for this program are to improve balance and increase resilience, endurance, flexibility, and range of motion.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Land O' Lakes Library.
