Practice your English-speaking skills in a group on Zoom. This is a fun, casual atmosphere to practice and improve your English. Speakers of all levels are welcome. We have a new topic for every meeting. The class will be hosted by Claudia from the South Holiday Library. Baby Storytime. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, 10:15 a.m. — 10:45 a.m.
This lap-sit program is meant to instill the love of reading in children at an early age. It is suitable for babies up to 1-year-old and their caregiver(s). Registration begins 2 weeks prior to the program.
Important Note: Only a single registration under the baby's name is needed.
Masks are recommended but not required.

Toddler Storytime. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, 11:15 a.m. — 11:45 a.m.
This program is intended for toddlers (ages two to three) along with their caregiver. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to the event.

Master Gardener Seminar: Bats. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, 11:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
The Master Gardeners of the Pasco County Cooperative Extension office will cover bats - why are they threatened and misunderstood. They are everywhere and so very cool!

Come enjoy story time with a speech therapist! Bridget Cibulskis has been a pediatric speech therapist for 12 years and would love to share tips and tricks for increasing your child's language development at home. Bridget will read a book to the kids while modeling skills for parents. Following story time Bridget will be available for Q&A with parents.

Spruce up your planners for with an introduction to modern calligraphy and hand lettering. Then, create your very own pop journal to practice your
lettering, keep notes in a new way, or create your very own mixed media art piece!

Master Gardeners: Growing Herbs. Monday, August 15, 2022, 2:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m.
This program is presented by County Extension's Master Gardener Program. This month's theme is on herb gardening. For a beginner or experienced gardener, herbs are a must for you. If you give them the growing conditions they prefer, most herbs will take less care than almost anything else in your garden. Find out how easy it is to grow and use herbs in Florida.
