Join us to learn all about prehistoric sea life! Participants will hear a story and make salt dough fossils.

Summer Sewing for Beginners. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, 2:00 p.m. — 3:30 p.m.
Join us to create a shark pincushion and button jar. All supplies will be provided. This class is for beginning sewers. This is a great way to start your own collection of sewing supplies. We will use basic sewing tools and practicing simple skills; cutting, sewing by hand, gathering, and a bonus-using a hot glue gun.
This class is for ages 9 years and older. Safety and Waiver forms are required. A guardian /parent must complete the form for anyone under the age of 18. Forms can be picked up at the Service Desk before the class.

Adult Open Studio: Painting. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, 5:30 p.m. — 7:30 p.m.
Join us for Adult Open Studio! This program is a self-guided exploration of painting through a variety of materials. We will provide some materials, but feel free to bring your own if you'd like. We will learn, practice, and share basic painting techniques and freely explore the medium of painting in a comfortable group environment. Walk-ins welcome any time during Open Studio. A staff member or volunteer will be present to guide any beginners. Open to all skill levels.

Baby Story Time. Thursday, July 28, 2022, 9:30 a.m. — 10:00 a.m.
A lap-sit program to instill the love of reading in children. This program is for infants ages birth-1yr. and their caregiver. Registration will begin 2 weeks before the event. A single registration can be made under the baby's name for the family.

Toddler Story Time. Thursday, July 28, 2022, 10:15 a.m. — 10:45 a.m.
A storytime program for toddlers (recommended for ages 2-3 years) and their caregiver. Registration will begin 2 weeks before the event and is required for the child.

Preschool Story Time. Thursday, July 28, 2022, 11:15 a.m. — 11:45 a.m.
This storytime is recommended for children (ages 3-5) along with their caregiver. Registration for this program begins two weeks prior and is required for each child.

Pottery Making for Beginners. Friday, July 29, 2022, 10:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m.
Make an appointment to learn the basics of throwing pottery on a wheel. Appointments are available for 2-hour time slots, from 10am-12pm, and 12pm-2pm. Safety and Liability waivers must be completed prior. Ages 16+ welcome.

Shark/Turtle Tracker. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 — Sunday, July 31, 2022.
Join us as we track sharks and sea turtles all summer long to see where they travel. Each animal has a distinct color so you can track their travels throughout the summer. Guess how far they've traveled and be entered to win your favorite animal.
Tracking information is gathered from the Ocearch and Sea Turtle Conservatory websites. Information about both is available at the library.

Jr. Master Gardener Summer Program. Tuesday, July 26, 2022, 10:00 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.
UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service is offering a Jr. Master Gardener Youth Education series starting July 26, 2022. One session will be taught each Tuesday through July 236, 2022. A secondary registration with 4-H Online will be required to secure your child’s spot. Upon class registration and payment, you will receive further instructions concerning the secondary registration. Each session will run from 10:00a.m.-12:30p.m. at the Hudson Library. Cost for the program, including all activity materials, instruction, and books is $60/child.

This toddler & preschool storytime will feature a new theme each week with short stories, songs, activities, and of course, dancing with bubbles. Registration is not required, but the room will be limited to 12 adults and their children.  Activities will be available on the Children's Room floor so arrive early to secure a spot!

This storytime is identical to the storytime that takes place at 10:20 am.

Yoga for Stress Relief at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex. Monday, July 25, 2022, 6:30 p.m. — 7:30 p.m.
Join us at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex for this yoga class. The purpose of yoga is to increase overall well-being by reducing stress and tension and by increasing flexibility, strength and enhancing breathing ability. This free class offers fundamental techniques tailored to the level of ability and fitness of the participants with an emphasis on relaxation and mindfulness throughout the practice. Ongoing classes will enable participants to develop their practice at an appropriate gradual pace.

Join Chef Warren as he presents this cooking program about the importance of good nutrition, basic kitchen safety, and easy cooking techniques.  Everyone goes home with recipes they can start making that night and a yummy snack!
FREE program for children (and their caregivers) in Grades K-5.  No registration required.  Program will be held next door to the Zephyrhills Public Library at City Hall.
