A lap-sit program to instill the love of reading in children. This program is for infants ages birth-1yr. and their caregiver. Registration will begin 2 weeks before the event. A single registration can be made under the baby's name for the family.

Toddler Story Time. Thursday, July 7, 2022, 10:15 a.m. — 10:45 a.m.
A storytime program for toddlers (recommended for ages 2-3 years) and their caregiver. Registration will begin 2 weeks before the event and is required for the child.

Preschool Story Time. Thursday, July 7, 2022, 11:15 a.m. — 11:45 a.m.
This storytime is recommended for children (ages 3-5) along with their caregiver. Registration for this program begins two weeks prior and is required for each child.

Tween/Teen: Ocean Science. Thursday, July 7, 2022, 2:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m.
Ever wonder how a whale stays warm? Do you think you'd survive the Titanic? Join us to find the answers to these questions and more!

Watercolor Workshop: Powerful Primaries. Thursday, July 7, 2022, 5:00 p.m. — 7:00 p.m.
Join our volunteer Marilyn for a watercolor class exploring the power and use of the 3 primary colors! Ages 9+. All supplies provided.

Floridian Cuisine. Thursday, July 7, 2022, 6:00 p.m. — 7:00 p.m.
Join Chef Warren as he shows you how to prepare quick and healthy meals using a variety of seafood, poultry and meat with locally grown fruits and vegetables. He will explain the various cultures that have contributed to Floridian cuisine and how it rivals the lauded Mediterranean cuisine for its health benefits and ease of preparation. He also shares creative ways to use fruit and spices to liven up run-of-the mill entrees, healthy options for your next cookout, and deliciously simple desserts that will wow your guests.
Chef Warren will end his presentation with a cooking demonstration, preparing a healthy entrée that anyone can replicate in his or her own home in less than 15 minutes.

Shark/Turtle Tracker. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 — Sunday, July 31, 2022.
Join us as we track sharks and sea turtles all summer long to see where they travel. Each animal has a distinct color so you can track their travels throughout the summer. Guess how far they've traveled and be entered to win your favorite animal.
Tracking information is gathered from the Ocearch and Sea Turtle Conservatory websites. Information about both is available at the library.

Jr. Master Gardener Summer Program. Tuesday, July 5, 2022, 10:00 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.
UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service is offering a Jr. Master Gardener Youth Education series starting July 5, 2022. One session will be taught each Tuesday through July 96, 2022. A secondary registration with 4-H Online will be required to secure your child’s spot. Upon class registration and payment, you will receive further instructions concerning the secondary registration. Each session will run from 10:00a.m.-12:30p.m. at the Hudson Library. Cost for the program, including all activity materials, instruction, and books is $60/child.

Fire safety is what it's all about in this informative, fun and "fiery" program!  Fire fighters and rescue team members from Pasco County Fire Rescue will enlighten us on what we all need to know.  They might even bring their fire engine!
FREE program for children (and their caregivers) in Grades K-5.  No registration required.  Program will be held next door to the Zephyrhills Public Library at City Hall.
