Adult Open Studio: Painting. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, 5:30 p.m. — 7:30 p.m.
Join us for Adult Open Studio! This program is a self-guided exploration of painting through a variety of materials. We will provide some materials, but feel free to bring your own if you'd like. We will learn, practice, and share basic painting techniques and freely explore the medium of painting in a comfortable group environment. Walk-ins welcome any time during Open Studio. A staff member or volunteer will be present to guide any beginners. Open to all skill levels.

Baby Story Time. Thursday, June 30, 2022, 9:30 a.m. — 10:00 a.m.
A lap-sit program to instill the love of reading in children. This program is for infants ages birth-1yr. and their caregiver. Registration will begin 2 weeks before the event. A single registration can be made under the baby's name for the family.

Toddler Story Time. Thursday, June 30, 2022, 10:15 a.m. — 10:45 a.m.
A storytime program for toddlers (recommended for ages 2-3 years) and their caregiver. Registration will begin 2 weeks before the event and is required for the child.

Preschool Story Time. Thursday, June 30, 2022, 11:15 a.m. — 11:45 a.m.
This storytime is recommended for children (ages 3-5) along with their caregiver. Registration for this program begins two weeks prior and is required for each child.

Mind Your Mood: A Self-Care Workshop for Teens. Thursday, June 30, 2022, 2:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m.
Attention teens! There's no time like the present to get in touch your thoughts and emotions. We hope that you will join us in learning how to reconnect with yourself, track your mood, and reduce as well as manage stress.
This program is for teens, grades 8-12. Registration is required. Masks are recommended but not required.

Pottery Making for Beginners. Friday, July 1, 2022, 10:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m.

Explore the possibilities of collage in this hands-on collage workshop! Our instructor Peggy will guide you through the creative process of how to create your own collage using all recycled materials. Ages 9+.

Lego Open Build: Ocean of Possibilities. Saturday, July 2, 2022, 10:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
Join us two Saturdays a month this summer from 10am-12pm for a special ocean themed Lego Open Build! Try your hand at building marine animals, or even an underwater scene! This series will be ongoing so participants can work on their creations throughout the summer in each session. Each participant ages 4-12 will have the opportunity to enter their piece into a Lego Art Exhibition at the end of the summer. Prizes will be available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each age category. Let's get building!

Scratch Coding for Beginners. Saturday, July 2, 2022, 3:30 p.m. — 4:30 p.m.
Are you interested in learning how to code? Join us as we use the Scratch program for beginner coding classes. No previous coding experience is required. This program is for children ages 7-13.
The classes will be taught by a Sensei from the Coding Ninjas of Trinity.

Aquarium I Spy. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 — Thursday, June 30, 2022.
Come and put your skills to the test and see how many creatures are in our summer aquarium. Find all the animals and win a prize at the information desk!
This is a passive program; you can participate any time you are at the library.
Please limit one prize per person.

Shark/Turtle Tracker. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 — Sunday, July 31, 2022.
Join us as we track sharks and sea turtles all summer long to see where they travel. Each animal has a distinct color so you can track their travels throughout the summer. Guess how far they've traveled and be entered to win your favorite animal.
Tracking information is gathered from the Ocearch and Sea Turtle Conservatory websites. Information about both is available at the library.

Jr. Master Gardener Summer Program. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, 10:00 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.
UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service is offering a Jr. Master Gardener Youth Education series starting June 28, 2022. One session will be taught each Tuesday through July 26, 2022. A secondary registration with 4-H Online will be required to secure your child’s spot. Upon class registration and payment, you will receive further instructions concerning the secondary registration. Each session will run from 10:00a.m.-12:30p.m. at the Hudson Library. Cost for the program, including all activity materials, instruction, and books is $60/child.

SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco & Pinellas. Specially trained volunteers can assist you with your Medicare, Medicaid, and Health insurance questions by providing one-on-one counseling and information.
All SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential.

This is a uniquely interactive activity sure to bring laughter and excitement to everyone.  Imagine drumming together in rhythm, smiling, dancing, and singing while experiencing the power of teamwork and being truly "in the moment."  You can't "beat" the fun of a drum!
FREE program for children (and their caregivers) in Grades K-5.  No registration required.  Program will be held next door to the Zephyrhills Public Library at City Hall.
