Join us to sew a simple sailboat shaped pillow. All supplies will be provided. This class is for beginning sewers. We will use basic sewing tools and practicing simple skills; pinning, sewing a seam, ironing, turning, and stuffing.
This class is for ages 9 years and older. Safety and Waiver forms are required. A guardian /parent must complete the form for anyone under the age of 18. Forms can be picked up at the Service Desk before the class.

A lap-sit program to instill the love of reading in children. This program is for infants ages birth-1yr. and their caregiver. Registration will begin 2 weeks before the event. A single registration can be made under the baby's name for the family.

This storytime is recommended for children (ages 3-5) along with their caregiver. Registration for this program begins two weeks prior and is required for each child.

Medicare Basics with SHINE. Saturday, June 25, 2022, 10:00 a.m. — 11:00 a.m.
Medicare Basics with SHINE provides an overview of the different parts of Medicare including Parts A, B, C, D, Medigap, and available financial assistance. SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco & Pinellas. Specially trained volunteers can assist you with your Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance questions by providing one-on-one counseling and information. SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential.

Aquarium I Spy. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 — Thursday, June 30, 2022.
Come and put your skills to the test and see how many creatures are in our summer aquarium. Find all the animals and win a prize at the information desk!
This is a passive program; you can participate any time you are at the library.

Shark/Turtle Tracker. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 — Sunday, July 31, 2022.
Join us as we track sharks and sea turtles all summer long to see where they travel. Each animal has a distinct color so you can track their travels throughout the summer. Guess how far they've traveled and be entered to win your favorite animal.
Tracking information is gathered from the Ocearch and Sea Turtle Conservatory websites. Information about both is available at the library.

Jr. Master Gardener Summer Program. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 10:00 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.
UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service is offering a Jr. Master Gardener Youth Education series starting June 21, 2022. One session will be taught each Tuesday through July 26, 2022. A secondary registration with 4-H Online will be required to secure your child’s spot. Upon class registration and payment, you will receive further instructions concerning the secondary registration. Each session will run from 10:00a.m.-12:30p.m. at the Hudson Library. Cost for the program, including all activity materials, instruction, and books is $60/child.

Yoga for Stress Relief at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex. Monday, June 20, 2022, 6:30 p.m. — 7:30 p.m.
Join us at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex for this yoga class. The purpose of yoga is to increase overall well-being by reducing stress and tension and by increasing flexibility, strength and enhancing breathing ability.
