January 1st is the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein! Written in 1818, Frankenstein tells the tale of scientist-inventor Victor Frankenstein and his creature. Shelley’s novel, and perhaps more notably Frankenstein’s “monster,” are long-lasting iconic figures in popular culture. The library is bringing back Warm Up With a Good Book, our winter adult reading program where you can read or listen to books and win prizes. Pick up your reading log beginning Monday, January 22nd.  More information about the program will be available at the library and at www.edwardsvillelibrary.org.
