The Edwardsville Public Library has a New App! Our mobile app allows you to access e-content, search our catalog, access our Events Calendar and much more. Search for “EPLMobile” in the Apple App Store or “Edwardsville Public Library” in the Google Play store to get started today.

The Library is partnering with Gateway EITC Community Coalition to provide free tax preparation every Saturday through March 25 for individuals and families who qualify. Doors open at approximately 8am and volunteers serve a limited number of people each week, so plan to arrive early. Other locations in the area are providing these services as well. March is National Craft Month! If you enjoy crafting and conversation, bring a portable craft and join us for Coventry Crafters Friday, March 3rd from 11:30am-1pm or Monday, March 6th from 7-8pm. You can also stop in and check out our large collection of books spanning many popular crafts like knitting and scrapbooking, or browse our online catalog.

Join us Thursday, March 30th -- 6:30-7:30pm, or Saturday, April 1st 9:30-10:30am for our Social Security Maximization program. Jason Stroede returns to the Edwardsville Public Library with two informative sessions on getting the most out of your Social Security. Learn spousal strategies to maximize your benefits, how to lower taxes on Social Security, and much more. Jason will also be able to field your Social Security questions after the program. Registration is required.
