October is National Vegetarian Awareness Month! Check out our fantastic collection of vegetarian cookbooks and learn how to make great vegetarian food at home.

Did you know you can register to vote at the library? There are eight registrars on staff happy to help you get registered! The last day to register to vote before the November 8th election is October 11, 2016 by 3:30 PM. Please call ahead to make sure one of our registrars is available at (618) 692-7556.

The Edwardsville Public Library is hosting its 13th Annual Photo Contest. Photo submissions begin Monday, October 3. Submissions will be displayed throughout the library through the beginning of November. Please stop by to see some fantastic pictures! If a movie marathon is what you are craving then come check out one of our new movie Binge Boxes! Each box contains 6 DVDs and may be checked out for 3 weeks. The box’s themes include Classic Romance, Comedy Rewind, Classic Horror, and Quintessential 80’s.

Not sure what to read next? Keep an eye out for our thumbs up bookmarks! Books with these are either staff or patron suggestions.
