Listen @ the Library with the Canton Symphony Orchestra

Rodman Library will host Listen @ the Library with the Canton Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday, March 18, at 1 p.m., in the library’s auditorium. This program features a series of interactive performances by musicians from the Canton Symphony. It pairs music with children’s literature in a unique and engaging way.

This year marks the first year of expansion outside of the Stark County Library System. Along with the 10 Stark County library branches, a trio of musicians will travel to seven other libraries that include Massillon, Rodman, North Canton, Canal Fulton and Minerva, where they will team up with a librarian to present a musical storytime program. Families will meet the performers, learn about the instruments they play and enjoy music in a relaxed setting.

All Listen @ the Library programs are free and open to children of all ages and their families. No registration is needed. For more information, call the Children’s Department at 330-821-2665, ext. 223.
