Teen "Super" Holiday Party

Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to join us for a “Super” Holiday Party with a superhero theme. Just gather at the Main Auditorium on Thursday, December 20, from 3 to 5 p.m., and let the fun begin!

Teens can be creative with assorted crafts. Games played are inspired by the superheroes from the DC & Marvel Universes. Crafts to make include painting an ornament using superhero logos; cutting out paper hero or villain snowflakes; creating a snow globe with mini heroes, or making gingerbread super characters.

Teens can also test their hero compatibility when they play “feats of strength” games. For participants’ amusement, holiday-themed superhero movie episodes play in the background.

Movie Premiere for Teens

All teens, ages 13-18, are invited to see Ant-Man and the Wasp, a free movie on RPL’s big screen in the auditorium on Tuesday, December 4, at 5:30 p.m.

A young man is trying to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as a superhero when he is called upon to team with another superhero on an urgent mission that leads them to discovering secrets from their past.

Teen Writing Club

The Teen Writing Club meets on every other Wednesday of the month (go to www.rodmanlibrary.com for specific dates).

For ages 12-18, the purpose of this group is to meet with fellow teen writers to work on writing exercises and hone skills. Any teen can join. Share work with the group if desired.

Gaming Un-Plugged for Teens, ages 12-18 - Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Anime Club for Teens, ages 13-18 – Meets the last Tuesday of the month from 3:30-5:30 p.m., in the Main Auditorium.
