Teen Murder Mystery Event

Join us on Tuesday, June 12, from 3 to 5:30 p.m., in Rodman Main Auditorium for Murder at the Teen Idol Awards. Top celebrities will gather at the Teen Idol Awards ceremony where some will be honored, others will perform. Competition is severe with some unconventional and slightly strange personalities hitting the red carpet. The mystery will unfold through three acts. By the end of the third act, all participants will find out “Who Dun It.” Participants are encouraged to come dressed for their part or to bring their costumes with them. Snacks will be available between acts. Space is limited. Sign-up in advance is required and participants may choose their character at this time. This event is open for teens, ages 12-18. Movie Premiere for Teens

All teens, ages 13-18, are invited to see a free movie, Black Panther, on RPL’s big screen in the auditorium on Tuesday, June 5, at 5:30 p.m. A king returns home to his remote, but technologically advanced nation only to find he is challenged for the throne by a resentful outsider. Teen Writing Club

A Teen Writing Club, for ages 12-18, is meeting for the summer on every other Wednesday at Rodman Library. The first meeting date is Wednesday, June 13, from 3 to 4 p.m., and will continue until the end of August. The purpose of this group is to give teens a place to meet with fellow writers to work on writing exercises, to share about what they are writing (and reading), and to hone their writing skills. Any teen who is interested in writing can join, whether they have written a lot or are just getting started. There will be opportunities to share work with the group, but sharing is not a requirement to come. No registration is needed. For more information, call the Main Library at 330-821-2665, ext. 213.

Gaming Un-Plugged for Teens, ages 12-18 - Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Anime Club for Teens, ages 13-18 – Meets the last Tuesday of the month from 3:30-5:30 p.m., in the Main Auditorium.

Teen Writers' Group, ages 12-18 - Meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 3:00-5:00 p.m., in the Alliance Room.

Teen Advisory, ages 12-18 - Meets the 3rd Monday of the month from 3:30-5:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium.
