Walkway Construction

The masons from Stonescape Masonry have taken advantage of the extraordinarily good November weather to get a head start on our new stone walk on the south lawn.  The large granite fieldstones replace the original stones which were in place for many years and then removed when the Centennial Wing was built twenty years ago. In recent years, this much-travelled pathway has been worn into a dusty and muddy walk, and we are pleased to bring the stone walkway back. The path will again lead from the top of the granite steps to the original Main Street entrance to the library..
