PROGRAMS SUSPENDED THROUGH MARCH

Starting Monday, March 16, the Camden Public Library will be suspending all programs and events through the end of March. Please check back with us about events in April as the situation is changing rapidly. The latest information will be posted on the sliders of the library's homepage: libraycamden.org

You may also want to know that the Library IS OPEN! While we know you’ve been paying close attention to the recent coronavirus outbreak in our country, we are doing everything we can to protect the health of both Library users and staff while still providing essential library service to our community.

What are we doing? To reduce possible exposure, the Library has extended best sanitation practices for workplaces by wiping down counters, keyboards, door handles, etc., multiple times a day. We’ve also added hand-cleaning stations around the Library so you can help keep all of us safe. And we’ve removed children’s toys that cannot be easily cleaned.

Lastly, we also want to remind you that we offer many services on-line, such as e-books and audio books, movies and TV shows via Kanopy and our informational databases at the Digital Maine Library.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we learn, as a community, to both contain and mitigate this virus. As always, thank you for your support.
