Take an UNselfie and Share Why You Give to Help Kids Learn to Read!

Most folks have very personal reasons for giving to the Camden Public Library -- literacy education, cultural programs, great books. Perhaps you give so that your dad can bring his granddaughter to the interactive learning storyhours that you went to as a child, or so you can meet new friends and neighbors while learning about your local history. There's just a few weeks to go until Giving Tuesday on December 1, 2015. This is the official start of the giving season, so now is the perfect time to share why you’re pitching in this year. Snap an #UNselfie -- a picture of someone or something that represents your reason for giving, and share it on Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter with the hashtags #unselfie and #givingtuesday. Be sure to share how the picture represents why you give!
You can also share a pic of a simple sign that says “I’m giving because” and yourreason for giving this season. Fellow fans might just get inspired to share their story and contribute, too. Add on the hashtags #unselfie and #givingtuesday and call out CamdenPublicLibrary on Facebook and Twitter so we can find you!
And stay tuned for a giving opportunity we’re launching on Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Click here to make a gift online.
