Library Seeks Events Coordinator

The Camden Public Library has an opening for an Events Coordinator. The position is a terrific opportunity to engage with and support every aspect of community life. “The Events Coordinator position is an amazing opportunity for the right person,” said Ken Gross, Assistant Director. “I have been coordinating events for almost twelve years now,” he added, “and while I am moving on to new challenges in the History Center at the library, we are looking for fresh ideas so we can continue our popular evening and weekend programs.” The Library is looking for just the right person to plan and implement Library events and programs that both stimulate the imagination and satisfy the needs of life-long learners. In addition to planning, scheduling, and implementing these programs, the Events Coordinator also publicizes them via the e-newsletter, social media, press releases, signage, website, etc. The job is part-time at 25 hours per week, and the schedule requires two evenings a week as well as occasional weekend work. Click here for more information..
