Are you interested in serving your community?

Would you like the chance to make your voice heard at Matteson Area Public Library District?

TEAM Library provides middle and high school students with service and leadership opportunities throughout the school year. At meetings, students will also learn some simple life skills. The life skill lessons in the fall of 2017 will be focused on financial literacy. At every meeting the library will serve snacks and their will be an entertaining service project or activity to do. TEAM members will have a great deal of say about what we do at meetings. I look forward to working with everyone at TEAM Library this school Year!

A note for everyone: this is the only email that I will send to everyone on the library contact list. From here on, I will only send TEAM Library information to people who have expressed an interest in the group by contacting me or filling out an application.

The next meeting of TEAM Library for the 2017-2018 school year is on Saturday, 10/7 from 2-4 PM. Please be on time if at all possible!
*Future 2017 meetings will be on 11/4 and 12/2.

At this meeting we will be scheduling volunteers for October, discussing a little more about budgets, and doing a service project. We will create hygiene kits for deployed military and hurricane victims. You will receive volunteer hours/credit for the time you spend working on the service project.

Please register here if you plan to attend the October meeting.
I will only be bringing enough snacks for the people who register, so if you want to eat, you need to sign up for the meeting.

Volunteer Opportunities coming to the Next Meeting:

Volunteer opportunites will be anounced at the meeting. Please bring your personal planner or schedule to the meeting so you can write down any times you choose to volunteer.
