Tuesdays from 10-11 AM  

No registration required.

Join us for this first playgroup experience with songs, stories, & baby games.  
Due to a lack of space we cannot have daycares at this storytime.

 

Little Makers

Age: Kids Ages 3-5

Get ready to make a mess at our science program for preschoolers. Join us for a fun discovery time. Each week, we will be trying fun experiments, sharing stories, and having a blast. Dress for mess!

No registration required.

Home Daycares can enjoy books, music, rhymes, and a whole host of educational toys and musical instruments. Don’t miss out on this fun educational experience.

 

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Reading Club

Age: Any Child Too Young for Kindergarten

Register in Youth Services Department.

Reading to preschool aged children builds vocabulary, language skills, and helps prepare them with the skills needed for future school and life success.   
Participants will receive a reading log to record books read.  Rewards will be given for every 100 books read. Ask for your reading log at the Kids’ Room Desk.

Build-A-Bot

Age: Grades 6th - 12th

Rome may not have been built in a day but what can you build? Come put your brains and innovation to use as we work together to build amazing mini robots and racers and watch them go! We'll be using Legos and Moss Robotic Construction kits. Build your ‘bots and see who's the best.

Family Chess (and Trading Card Games) Night

Age: 1st Grade - Adults 
Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM

No registration required.  

Learn to play from our instructor or just play with others to improve your skills.  
We provide the chess boards and pieces; bring your own trading card decks.  
Fun for the whole family.  

 

 

Are you a Homeschooler or a Tutor?

We invite you to fill out our information forms.  
Homeschoolers: Your form will be used to keep you informed of library events that might interest your family.
Tutors: Your form will be used to provide information to library patrons who request to know about local area tutors.
Information forms will be available in youth services.
