How Summer Reading Works:

  • Open to Kids and Teens from Birth through Entering 12th Grade
  • No charge to participate and enjoy fun activities and prizes.
  • Pick up reading logs at the Youth Services Desk or print them from our website.  Complete and return a reading log once each week.
  • Preschoolers: each weekly reading log earns a small prize.
  • School Age Kids & Teens: each weekly reading log earns $5 in "Lester Loot"
  • Earn more "Lester Loot" by coming to the events in this email.
  • Save your "Lester Loot" and spend it in our Prize Store later in the summer.
  • Registration occurs weekly.  For example: on Monday 6/5 you will be able to register for activities happening between Monday 6/12 & Saturday 6/17.  On Monday 6/12 you can register for activities happening between Monday 6/19 & Saturday 6/24.  This pattern repeats during June & July.
  • Register in person, by phone, on our website, or through email links below.  You'll find all the library's contact information at the top of this email.
  • Programs requiring registration are not open to camps, daycares, or school groups due to space constraints.
