Join us for a screening of "GO PUBLIC: A Day in the Life of an American School District," a documentary of a single day in Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD), on  Monday, January 29, at 6:30pm . A panel with film's producers and PUSD Superintendent will immediately follow the screening.

Calling All Teens Interested in a Leadership Position at the Library!

The Teen Advisory Board is a group of teens that want to make a difference in their community by providing insight on teen programming and services. The group, made up of 7th- to 12th-graders, meets monthly on the last Tuesday of every month from 3:30 - 5:00pm. While the first meeting of the year is right around the corner (next Tuesday, January 30), there is still time to apply! Simply fill out our online volunteer application and join us at the first meeting to learn about requirements for ongoing service! This is your big chance to make an impact on other teens; don't let it pass you by!

Don't miss this month's Seed Library Open Hours & Presentation!

Next Saturday, February 3, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, the Altadena Seed Library will be open to the public and guests will enjoy a presentation "Sowing and Saving Seeds for Natives" by expert gardener Krystal Rains. Krystal says, "Let's turn our eyes to the Native plant garden, see what can be propagated, and explore how to collect and save them. Is it the proper time of year to set Native seeds for the best chance of surviving harsh summer temps?"

The Friends Are Busy As Ever!
