Inside Information to Help YOU Expedite Your Business Planning

Navigating the complex permitting and licensing processes of Los Angeles County can be daunting to even the most knowledgeable businessperson. As your local link to information and resources, Altadena Library District is thrilled to partner with LA County's Department of Consumer & Business Affairs in offering two informative workshops for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Facilitated by Community Economic Development Liaison Ernesto Bobadilla, both workshops take place next weekend on Saturday, December 16.

  • The first session "What Does It Take to Open Your Business?" starts at 10:00am and will cover what individuals need to consider when opening a business, including the elements of a business plan, financial considerations, and free resources available.
  • The second session "Permits & Licensing Requirements in LA County" starts at 11:00am and will delve into the different departments that handle the various permits and licenses, what to expect when dealing with LA County, and ways to expedite the process.

There are limited spots left in each of these workshops – email to register as soon as possible!
