Welcome to 2017, library guests! It's a new year and many exciting activities await at Willard Library and the Helen Warner Branch. Check it out!

If one of your New Year's Resolutions is to research your family history, this program is perfect for you. Willard's genealogy experts will provide a tour of HeritageQuest, an online comprehensive treasury of American genealogical sources. In addition to U.S. Census information, learn how to search for family history information using city directories, the 1850 and 1860 Slave Schedules, the U.S. Indian Census Rolls from 1885-1940, and more. Willard library staff will explain the resources available, offer search tips, and provide instruction on how to access HeritageQuest from the comfort of your own home.

Erica Loomis, owner of Your Organized Space in Lansing, will provide tips on getting organized and controlling the clutter.

Snacks and Apps offers an opportunity to get one-on-one help with the library's apps--Freegal, Hoopla, Zinio, or Overdrive. A team of experts will be ready to assist you in downloading e-books, audiobooks, music, magazines, movies, and TV shows. Bring your phone or tablet and your appetite.
