Facebook Live: 'My Little Michigan Kitchen' with Mandy McGovern |
Mandy McGovern, author of "My Little Michigan Kitchen," will connect with viewers via Facebook Live, a video streaming platform, to talk about her book and discuss recipes. She will share cooking tips and show some of her cooking skills. Mandy also will answer questions from the Facebook audience submitted through the comment section.

Beverly Jenkins, who writes historical and contemporary romance novels with a focus on 19th century African-American life, will talk about historical romance, research, creativity, and diverse themes. She has written more than 40 books and received the 2017 Romance Writers of America Lifetime Achievement Award. Beverly's talk is part of Willard's Facebook Live Author Series. At 5 p.m. on Thursdays authors talk about their books, writing process, and their lives on Willard’s Facebook page.

Facebook Live with Josh Malerman, Author of 'Bird Box' |
Join Josh Malerman, author of "Bird Box," for a Facebook Live talk. The suspenseful book won a Michigan Notable Book Award and was nominated for a Bran Stoker Award. In 2018, the "Birdbox" movie, starring Sandra Bullock and John Malkovich, became a scary sensation on Netflix. Many staff at Willard Library enjoyed the book -- in all its creepy suspense -- and continue to recommend it to guests. Josh lives in Ferndale, MI, and sings in a rock band called The High Strung.
During the live stream, he also will address posted comments.
Josh's talk is part of Willard's Facebook Live Author Series. At 5 p.m. on Thursdays hear authors talk about their books, writing process, and their lives.
