Spring has sprung at Willard Library! The month of April kicks off with K-12 spring break for students. If you're planning a trip, try one our our apps like Hoopla to find audiobooks and e-books for the journey. Hoopla also has hours of music for kids. If you're staying in town, there are programs at the library for all ages during Spring Break week. Gardeners won't want to miss a special April 4th visit by pollination expert Susan Betz, just in time to plan and make changes for the upcoming planting season.

Register a third or fourth-grade student for the "Puppy Licks" activity, sponsored by the Generation E Entrepreneurship Program. This is a great learning opportunity for younger students to learn the basic principles of entrepreneurship and also offers the rewarding experience of allowing them to donate to charity and help animals. This program helps kids discover their own unique skills and strengths.

For the rest of the family, Spring Break activities include a Family Game Day on Wednesday, April 6 and a screening of The Peanuts Movie on Friday, April 8. This movie is rated G and is 1 hour and 33 minutes long. Viewers may bring a snack. Groups are asked to register by calling 269-968,8166, ext. 518.

On Monday, April 4, gardening enthusiasts will enjoy hearing author and conservationist Susan Betz explain the GreenBridges program, a nationwide network of green corridors to increase pollination.
