March 2 is the birthday of popular children's author Theodor Seuss Geisel, who wrote dozens of books as Dr. Seuss. This after-school birthday celebration will feature lots of fun including crafts and a photo opportunity. This year marks the third annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration at the Helen Warner Branch. Stop by for lots of fun to celebrate our love of reading and all things Seuss!
The author of The Life We Bury will visit Battle Creek and spend an evening discussing his book, writing processes, and answering questions from the audience. His books will be for sale, and the authors will be signing books.
Kids will be laughing out loud during the magical and lively “Frog and Toad” production. Two of author Arnold Lobel’s most beloved characters show how good friends help each other through thick and thin.
