Beat the winter blues and find something to LOVE at Willard Library or the Helen Warner Branch in February! Great events for all ages are happening at both locations.
Celebrate the sixth annual Take Your Child to the Library Day at Willard Library. Drop in between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and spend some quality time together as a family reading, building, creating, and playing. This international initiative encourages families everywhere to take their children to their local libraries. It's fun! It's free! It's family-friendly!
In honor of Black History Month, Willard Library will show Alice's Ordinary People. The documentary tells the story of Alice Tregay, the heroine of the Civil Rights Movement. Afterward, the film’s producer, Craig Dudnick, will give a talk and participants will be able to discuss the film.
The Storytellers, Bob and Audrey Allison, return to present another fantastic show. They combine interactive storytelling, music, full audience participation, and hands-on fun with musical instruments from all over the world.
