Jump into Fall with Miss Nicole and Miss Mawi as they explore this season
and the many things to enjoy about this time of year. Follow along in
English and Burmese as they read “In the Middle of Fall” by Kevin Henkes.
Supplies for the crafts are included in the October School Age Grab ’n’ Go Kits.

‘We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt’ |
Preschoolers are going on a leaf hunt with Miss Nicole! Youngsters will explore the beautiful world of leaves and learn why leaves change color and fall off the trees. Participants will hear the story “We're Going on a Leaf Hunt" by Steve Metzger and enjoy a special leaf hunt. Young ones will receive fall-themed crafts to complete at home. October Little Explorers on the Go Bags will include the materials for this program.

Pick up a Take and Make Craft Bag from either library, watch the video, and then use the supplies to make your own craft. Take a few minutes to hand paint a set of wooden spoons.

On the Road with Miss Stephanie: WMU Aviation |
Join Miss Stephanie and the staff from the College of Aviation at Western Michigan University for a memorable in-person experience hearing a story and looking at airplanes. The college is one of the largest aviation programs in the nation and has a fleet of 28 Cirrus SR20s. At this program, which is geared for students in kindergarten through second grade, participants will receive take-home
crafts and give-aways.
