Fiber Arts Social - Thursday, Apr 5th & 19th from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Spend the day stitching your cares away with friends or come make new ones! Any hand work project is welcome. Give your machines a day of rest! Meets in the Community Room.

Wednesday Readers - Monday, Apr 9th at 7:00 p.m.

This group will meet in the Community Room to discuss The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith. Copies of the book will be available at the Circulation Desk prior to the meeting date. New members are always welcome.

Storytime - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays Jan 24th-Apr 12th PLUS Saturday Storytime Apr 21st at 11:00 a.m.

Toddler Storytime (for babies and toddlers up to age 3) takes place on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Children's Department. Preschool Storytime (for ages 3-5) takes place on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. Family Storytime (NEW!) (for children birth to age 5) takes place on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. plus we'll also have a Family Storytime on Saturday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m.

Live @ the Library: Cindy Hunter Morgan Presents Harborless (Poetry Reading) - Thursday, Apr 12th at 7:00 p.m.

Cindy Hunter Morgan will do a poetry reading from her 2018 Michigan Notable Book, titled Harborless. Several of the poems are about shipwrecks that share connections to Port Huron and the Blue Water Area.

LittleBits: Beginning Coding - Saturday, Apr 14th from 10:00-1:00 p.m.

LittleBits is a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks. Join us in the Community Room to play with our beginning coding toys! For 1st-5th graders 10-11:30 a.m. and for 6th grade and up from 11:30-1:00 p.m.

Spring Craft Saturday - Apr 14th from 10-11:30 a.m.

Children can welcome spring by make some fun spring crafts in the Children's Department!

Afterschool Movie: Ferdinand - Thursday, Apr 19th at 3:30 p.m.

We'll be showing Ferdinand (Rated PG; 108 min) in the Children's Department. As always, refreshments will be served, and all are welcome!

C omputer Classes - Apr 19th & 24th from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Introduction to Computers will be taught on April 19th and Internet Searching & Email will be taught on April 24th. Classes are $5/person/class and are held in the Upper Level Training Lab. Call 231-928-0257 to register. Registration is required.

Director Welcome Reception - Apr 24th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Please join us in the Community Room to welcome Dr. Jan Figa as our new Library Director. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served, and all are welcome!

Daytime Book Group - Thursday, Apr 26th at 11:30 a.m.

This group will meet by the north fireplace to discuss Vincent & Theo: The Van Gogh Brothers by Deborah Heiligman. Copies of the book will be available at the Circulation Desk prior to the meeting date. New members are always welcome.
