Join our Electronic Resource Librarians as we teach computer classes aimed at the beginner user.
Courses vary, but include classes about Microsoft Office, smartphones, iPads, Basic Computing, and much more!
Lafayette Public Library also offers classes in our Makerspaces where you can learn more about the technology used and how to design items to be made for personal use.

| Computer Classes at South Regional Library |
|
Classes are held in the afternoons on Monday and Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 PM for the month of June.
Classes include Basic Computing, Introduction to Microsoft Excel, Introduction to Microsoft Access, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

| Computer Classes at the Main Library |
|
Classes at the Main Library are held on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 PM for the entire Summer (June/July/August)
Classes include Basic Computing, iPad Basics, Smartphones, Digital Payment Methods, and other topics.
The Main Library also has a Makerspace class that's held once a month on Mondays from 1:00-2:00 PM.

|
Classes at West Regional Library are held on Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 PM. Classes begin in July.
Classes include: Basic Computing, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint. Registration for these programs will open as early as June 27, 2022.

Topics at East Regional Library include: Basic Computing, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Integrating Word and Excel. Registration for these programs will open as early as July 18, 2022.

|
Computer Classes are held once a month on Fridays at North Regional Library in Carencro from 2-3 PM. Classes include: Smartphones, E-Books/E-Audiobooks, and Digital Payment Methods.

Classes at the Chenier Library are held twice a month on Tuesdays from 11-12 PM. Classes include: Basic Computing, Smartphones, Video Streaming Services, Audio Streaming Services, Ridesharing Apps, and Digital Payment Methods.
