Local Author Fair Saturday, November 9 11:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m. This free event is an exciting opportunity for readers to discover new authors, talk with them, and peruse their books, which will be available for sale. It also provides a platform allowing local writers to showcase their work, connect with interested readers, and network with other area authors.
The library is excited to feature Roger Gordon, writer of sports books, most recently Blanton’s Browns: The Great 1965-69 Cleveland Browns and A Century of NFL Football: The All-Time Quiz. He has written four other football books and three basketball books. For eight years, Gordon wrote for the magazine Bernie’s Insiders/The Orange and Brown Report for which he conducted personal interviews with some 70 former Cleveland Browns, including Hall of Famers Jim Brown, Paul Warfield, Ozzie Newsome and Leroy Kelly. Other publications Gordon has written for include The Plain Dealer Sunday Magazine, Lake Erie Living Magazine and the Record-Courier in Portage County, Ohio. He is a member of the Professional Football Researchers Association.

Their books will also be on sale during the event.
