We hope to reverse or modify these new policy changes by working with the publishers and authors, as well as library consortia, our state and national library associations, and other stakeholders. Please know that we will fight to provide the materials you want and need, and hate these new limitations more than anything! We will keep you updated on the situation.
Sherie Brown All locations of the Massillon Public Library will be CLOSED on Monday, October 14 for a Staff Enrichment Day.
The Ghost Scare on Prospect Street Join us on Wednesday, October 2, from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. for a drama researched and written by Lee Lavery about a haunted happening in Massillon history. No registration required.
Book Sale The Friends of Massillon Public Library will hold a book sale on October 10, October 11, and October 12. Hours for the sale will be 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. each day.
Let's Bake! Local chef and former owner of The Amherst Rose Tea Room, Mary Jane Corwin, will present a program on Saturday, October 12, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. that will acquaint you with the special baking equipment that you can now borrow from the library.
