Summer is heating up and our Summer Reading Club participants have been busily reading and tracking their pages for weeks. As we head into the final stretch, be sure to catch these and other programs at your library!
Space Day
Wednesday, July 24
2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Representatives from The Wilderness Center will create stations with interactive activities based on each of our planets! This program is free and open to children up to grade 6. Pre-readers must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
Tween Time
On Saturday, July 27
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Tweens are invited to take part in a Not-So-Rigid Tower Building Challenge. We will divide into teams, use some crazy and flexible building materials, and see which team can build the tallest tower. Tween Time programming is open to children going into grades 4 through 8. All supplies are provided. Registration is required and is limited to 15 participants. SPIN, POP, BOOM!

6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
The 2019 Children’s Summer Reading Club will host the closing program in the auditorium. Presenters from Mad Science of Northeast Ohio will present a special 45-minute science program called “SPIN, POP, BOOM!” featuring some amazing science experiments you’re sure to love! This program is for children up to grade 6.
