The Technology Department will present a two-part class on Excel Essentials. Microsoft Excel is essential for many jobs and can even be useful in our personal life. In these introductory hands-on workshops, learn how to create and format a basic spreadsheet using Excel.

Ohio's First Super Highway

Massillon Public Library in partnership with the Massillon Local History & Genealogy Society invites you to learn about Ohio Canals. Local historian Richard Haldi will tell the story of the 310-mile hand-dug ditch that lifted Ohio up and out of a wilderness existence. The presentation will explore the canal's remarkable story from its inception in the 1820s to the appearance of the first canal boats in Massillon in 1828.

Jam Night!

Join us for this informative and engaging workshop where we will learn strategies to slash our grocery bill while eating nutritiously. Get ready to feel energized with healthy nutrient rich foods and saving money! Specific action strategies, interactive game questions and recipe resources will be included. This online program will take place in the Main Library Auditorium, where we can gather to watch Jill together via Zoom and ask her questions. Or, you can choose to view the Zoom presentation remotely.

Join your friends at the Belloni Branch of the Massillon Public Library for a fun-filled night of Lego Challenge and Free Build! We will begin our Lego Family Fun Night by completing a Lego Challenge in the first half hour. The second half hour your group can expand on the challenge or free build.

Fiero Code is a new learn-to-code resource available to use for free with your library card! Through this web-based educational software, kids ages 8-18 can learn computer programming skills through a series of tutorials and projects. They will work towards building websites, video games, phone apps, animations and more, all while learning how to become better problem solvers and critical thinkers. Adults might find it fun to learn, too!
