We're pleased to announce a new resource for historical and genealogical research:
HistoryGeo.com is a family history software service that provides access to old maps and land records for genealogical and historical research. It includes the First Landowners Project and the Antique Maps Collection. Genealogy, history, and archaeology researchers can use these interactive resources to recreate frontier neighborhoods and track migrations of families across the United States.
This resource is free to use for Massillon Public Library card holders. Access this resource through links on these pages:

Children are invited to come to the library and read to a furry listener! Learning to read can be stressful but dogs don't mind if a reader stumbles over a word. Dogs just gaze adoringly as they are read to, helping readers gain confidence and skill in a relaxed atmosphere.

Stop in before the annual holiday parade to mail a letter to Santa, visit with Mrs. Claus and get a photo with her, decorate cookies in the North Pole Cafe, do crafts, play games and learn how to be an elf!
