New Jersey Makers Day

Join us for NJ Makers Day! Makers from across New Jersey
will be participating in the annual NJ Makers Day 2016 to celebrate and share maker culture. DIY crafts and building stations will be available from 10 am to 12 pm downstairs in Meeting Room B or the Children’s Department.

Excel Graphs and Pivot Tables

Make your Excel projects look great with graphs and pivot tables. This class will help you learn how to create graphs and pivot tables, when to use one and not the other, and how to style them to best represent your data visually. Students should have basic Excel skills prior to taking the class.

Computers 101

This class will show you what you need to know to create a good looking PowerPoint presentation. Learn how to add text and pictures to slides, organize them and show them to your audience.

Introduction to Word

Get started using Microsoft Word. Learn how to create and save a document and format and edit text in this introduction to the widely used word processing program.

Tech Tuesday

Have you been having a hard time figuring out what to do with your iPad or other tablet computer? Need a hand in downloading eBooks and audiobooks to your tablet, eReader, or phone? Exasperated by your e-mail? Come to the library and we’ll try to help. Drop-in Tech Help will be available Tuesday afternoons from 2-4:30PM at the Parsippany Library

Join us for a special training session to learn about all the different pieces of equipment the Makerspace at the Parsippany Library has to offer. Once you complete this 1-hour training session, you will receive a special Makerspace membership card and be able to reserve the Makerspace for up to 2-hours per day.
