These 10 Apps  can help you plan, pack and navigate so you can make the most of your time away from every day life.  Learn about the best ways to mange flights, find hotels and restaurants, and not get lost while exploring unfamiliar terrain.  Bring your smartphone with you for a hands-on experience.

Gmail Tips and Tricks
Friday, May 20 at 2PM

This class will show you how to wrangle your Gmail and improve your productivity.  Learn how lables and filters can sort out what's important and what's not, how contact lists can make emailing multiple people a breeze and how to tailor your account to reflect your needs not Google's.  Students should be able to login to their gmail account prior to class.

You’ll learn about many of the features included in your iPad plus what apps are, when to use them and how to install them.  Students should have a valid e-mail address and bring their iPad to class.

Intermediate Excel 2010

Do more with spreadsheets!  Learn more advanced formatting, including freezing panes and conditional formatting, how to use multiple sheets in a workbook, and setup a spreadsheet for printing.  Students should have taken Basic Excel 2010 or have the equivalent experience.

Tech Tuesday
May 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 from 2-4:30PM

Have you been having a hard time figuring out what to do with your iPad or other tablet computer?  Need a hand in downloading eBooks and audiobooks to your tablet, eReader, or phone?  Exasperated by your e-mail?  Come to the library and we’ll try to help.  Drop-in Tech Help will be available Tuesday afternoons from 2-4:30PM at the Parsippany Library.

Join us for a special training session to learn all about the different pieces of equipment the Makerspace at the Parsippany Library has to offer.  Once you complete this 1-hour training session, you will receive a special Makerspace membership card and be about to reserve the Makerspace for up to 2 hours per day.
