PowerPoint 2010
Monday, September 12 at 11AM

This class will show you everything you need to know to create a good looking PowerPoint presentation.  Learn how to add text and pictures to slides, organize them and show them to your audience.  

Excel 2010: The Basics
Monday, September 19 at 11AM

Start using Microsoft Excel 2010.  Learn how to set up a spreadsheet, enter data and start doing some basic math.

Excel 2010:  Formatting and Formulas
Tuesday, September 20 at 11AM
 

Do more with spreadsheets!  Learn more advanced formatting, including freezing panes and conditional formatting, how to use multiple sheets in a workbook, and how to format a spreadsheet for printing.  Students should have taken Excel 2010: The Basics or have equivalent experience. 

Excel 2010: Graphs and Pivot Tables
Wednesday, September 21 at 11AM

This class will show you how to create graphs and pivot tables, when to use them, and how to make them look great.  Students should have taken Excel 2010: The Basics or have equivalent experience. 

Basic Word 2010
Wednesday, September 28 at 2PM

This class will acquaint you with Word, show you how to create and edit a document and format text.  

Intermediate Word 2010
Thursday, September 29 at 2PM

Do more in Word! Learn how to add headers and footers, tables and symbols to your document, plus get more practice with text formatting.  Students should have taken Basic Word 2010 or have equivalent experience.

Windows 10
Friday, September 30 at 2PM

During this overview and introduction to Windows 10, you will learn about new features, how to navigate and use the new operating system and much more.

Tech Tuesday

Have you been having a hard time figuring out your iPad or other tablet computer? Need a hand downloading eBooks or magazines? Exasperated by your e-mail?  Come to the library and we'll try to help.  Drop-in Tech Help will be available Tuesdays between 2PM and 4:30PM at the Parsippany Library.

Join us for a special training session to learn all about the different pieces of equipment the Makerspace at the  Parsippany Library has to offer.  Once you complete this 1-hour training session, you will get a Makerspace Membership Card and be able to reserve the space for up to 2 hours per day.
